Smart Money – Business Tools Series

By popular demand, we are introducing our Business Tools series, one of our Smart Money information offerings.  This series consists of a list of Business Tools that we use and/or recommend for small business owners.   The resources and services that make our list work well, bring value, and are applicable to many business owner.

In the interest of time, I have compiled 2 quick lists – Business Owner Tools and Business Web Tools.  Please check them out now and give me your feedback.

Yes, the descriptions are pretty meager – I’ll get back to that soon enough.  I really wanted to get a set of tools out there for people to access and start to use.  So, there you have it.

My incoming emails and responses to our newsletters have questions like:

  • How do you develop your websites?
  • Where do you get your domain names?
  • What is the best way to publish articles?
  • Is Article Marketing important?  How do you get published?
  • What Accounting Software do you use?
  • How did you develop your Marketing and Business Plans?

That last one, about Business and Marketing Plans, is not included – I charge consulting fees for helping clients develop Business Plans and Marketing Plans.

Except for that one, though, all the others are like the commercial for pasta sauce …. “It’s In There”

I have included as many of our trusted resources and references and suppliers as I could in the time I had.  We have derived a great benefit from these sources, both in terms of the services and in the education.  All of the best companies impart an education in just dealing with them.

YES!  I promise to add the rest of my suppliers and my new suppliers.  Look for the links under SMART MONEY SITES on the right hand toolbar on this blog, Business Owner Tools and Business Web Tools are already there and I will probably expand to a couple more categories.

At any rate, I’ll add to these lists and continue to give more robust explanations.  As many of you know, business development is one of my passions, so look for more stuff in this area.

Michael, are you accepting clients for Business Consulting or Business and Marketing Plans?
No, not at this time.  For those that have asked (in writing!), you are on the list and will get first available time slots.

ALL – enjoy the Business Tools series.   Reply with comments and suggestions!
